A search of the world wide web for sites that contain information about any genocide will yield more than 85 million results, so it can be a challenge for somebody new to the field of Holocaust and genocide studies to separate those websites that have been well-researched and peer reviewed from other websites that were made without the same commitment to historical authenticity, or worse, websites that purposely or unwittingly distribute misinformation.
